Therefore blood-tracking is an important and difficult part of hunting. Blood-tracking makes great demands on dog and tracker. This applies as well to identify what you find at the shooting site as to the physical fitness of the tracker and his dog.
Tracking for miles in a mountain region can become pretty exhausting.
As a matter of course a hunter should find out after every single shot, what happened. Not finding blood at the shooting site does not mean the hunter failed.
